this month, the theme was "Surviving flu season".
foods rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber.
easy to digest
regulates blood sugar level
and nourishing for exhausted organs/systems
especially orange/red/yellow colored veggies are high in vitamin A, which protects from infections.
and dark leafy greens such as kale are high in antioxidant and fiber.

New Year "detox" dishes
after weeks of over-eating/drinking, our system must be so exhausted!
what we may want now is foods rich in vitamins/minerals/fiber, foods that regulates blood sugar level, and nourishes our organs and system.

1 sweet vegetable soup (nourishing for pancreas)
2 kale-grain salad (good for liver)
