Unsweetened yet Sweet : )
Sometimes, i don't even want the sweetness of maple syrup or rice syrup.
and i crave just natural, gentle sweetness.
so i came up with this.
baked japanese sweet potato and apple pie.
bake the potato 350F for 1 hour, as a "custard base", mix with earth balance.
cook apple with raisin, cinnamon, walnuts and pumpkin seed, then add kudzu.
and bake for 15min in whole wheat pie shell.
this is so comforting, and the sweetness is like.... a nice warm hug by the nature : )
if only, i had an artistic talent for presentation.... : (
