all you food looks delicious! Dinner parties with friends are the best...I haven't had one in a while. Anyway, the mochi waffles I make I have tried the brown rice syrup with lemon and walnuts from the Kind Diet book, but I also made an apple compote- cut apples add cinnamon and a little brown rice syrup and cook until the apples are soft (may need to add a little water). Tahini is supposed to be good too but I have never tried it on the waffles.
