7/20 Cooking Class

Beat the heat with Yin and Yang. the temperature over 90, and no air conditioning, we made simple summer dishes to make peace with the summer heat. to replenish the lost minerals through sweat, arame seaweed salad with sour ume plum dressing is a great "one pot meal". simple miso pesto, using the least expensive seeds, (1/10 the price of pine nuts!). zucchini rice cake. and refreshing rhubarb summer drink. and we talked a little bit about how we can apply yin and yang to cope with the heat. the next class is 7/24 wednesday at 5:30.
